AI READINESS INTELLIGENCE

Healthcare AI isn't failing
because of the technology.
It's failing because of the
deployment gap.

Most AI deployments in healthcare stall not from a lack of tools—but from a lack of readiness at the organisational, human, and product level simultaneously. LiminalX was built to close that gap.

The LiminalX Approach

Two frameworks. One purpose.
Zero compromise on safety.

Sustainable AI in healthcare requires two things to be true simultaneously: the humans using AI must be ready for it, and the AI itself must be rigorously validated for the context it operates in. Most solutions address one of these. LiminalX addresses both.

Organisational Readiness
THRIVE

A six-dimension framework that measures whether your organisation—its people, infrastructure, governance, and culture—is genuinely prepared to deploy and sustain AI at the point of care.

The Human Lens
AI Product Assessment
VERA

A structured assessment framework mapping 18 clinical AI failure modes to 8 validation methods and 8 evidence anchors—determining whether a specific tool is safe to deploy in a specific clinical context.

The AI Lens

Organisational Readiness

THRIVE

Successful AI deployment is a joint achievement—part technology, part human readiness. Just as an AI product must meet clinical validation standards, the organisation deploying it must meet the bar for readiness. THRIVE defines that bar across six dimensions, each grounded in an established international standard—because both have to be true.

THRIVE
Composite Readiness Score
THRIVE produces a single organisational readiness score from all six dimensions. Each dimension constrains the others—an organisation cannot compensate for a weak Regulatory score with a strong Human one. The limiting dimension determines deployment readiness.

AI Product Assessment

VERA

Regulatory approval is a necessary milestone—not a deployment decision. It confirms that a product performs as designed. What it cannot tell you is whether that product will be safe, effective, and beneficial in your specific clinical context, for your patient population, within your care pathway. Turning approved capability into genuine clinical impact requires structured guidance and oversight. VERA provides that structure: grounded simultaneously in IAEA, WHO, READI, and FDA GMLP, it is an internationally-applicable framework for ensuring a validated AI product is the right tool, in the right environment, deployed with the right safeguards.

Where They Meet

When human readiness and
AI validation align, healthcare transforms.

Neither framework operates in isolation. A high THRIVE score doesn't protect against a poorly validated tool. A VERA-validated product deployed into an unready organisation will underperform or be abandoned. The convergence is the point.

Safer Deployment

Validated tools deployed into genuinely prepared organisations fail less, and fail more visibly when they do—enabling faster, safer recovery.

Human + AI, Together

The goal is not AI replacing clinical judgment—it is AI extending it. THRIVE and VERA define the conditions under which that extension is genuinely safe.

Sustained Value

Readiness is not a one-time gate. Both frameworks are designed for continuous measurement—so you know when readiness and validation hold over time.
