Using AI responsibly means
accounting for its true cost

We use AI. We are aware of its environmental footprint. And we believe that choosing not to address that would contradict everything LiminalX stands for.

Before a single cent is taken as profit, we pledge to offset our AI carbon footprint.

This is not a future aspiration or a target we will revisit when we are larger. It is a founding principle, written in from the beginning. The use of AI tools in building and running LiminalX carries a real energy cost. We commit to offsetting the carbon footprint of our AI inference and training compute, alongside the rest of our operational emissions. We accept that responsibility unconditionally—and we act on it first, not last.

We see the impact clearly

AI has an energy cost that is easy to ignore when the outputs appear on a screen. Training models, running inference, storing data—these are physical processes with carbon consequences. We don't look away from that.

Healthcare advocacy means planetary advocacy

We exist to advocate for better healthcare outcomes for all. It would be a contradiction—not a nuance—to pursue that goal while contributing to an environmental burden that itself drives disease, displacement, and inequality.

Offset before profit. Always.

Carbon offsetting is imperfect and we know it. But it is the honest, immediate action available while better alternatives mature. We commit to it without condition—not as a marketing statement, but as an operational principle with financial priority.

This is a living commitment

We will update this page as our practices evolve, our footprint grows, and better tools become available. If you have expertise in sustainable AI infrastructure, verified carbon programmes, or environmental governance and want to help shape how LiminalX approaches this—we genuinely want to hear from you.
